Divorce and Family Law

When a marriage dissolves, there are many questions and decisions to be faced at what, for many, is one of the most difficult times of their lives.  Facing this with a trusted advocate can make all the difference.   The peace of mind gained by partnering with someone who is familiar with the process will allow you to focus on the immediate issues facing your family and get on with the work of healing.

Estate Planning

We all know we should do it, but no one wants to contemplate their own death. Nonetheless, by creating an estate plan to deal with financial and other matters, you can save your loved ones further heartache and the confusion of locating your assets and guessing at your wishes. Having a basic estate plan in place will take the quesswork out of it for your family, and will protect your assets and allow them to be disposed of as you wish. Parents of minor children can make provision for them in the event both parents predecease the children. I will help you draft a will, trust, power of attorney, advanced health care directive and other important documents. I will also help your family probate the estate in order that your wishes are followed and your assets are not depleted.
